Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to book a meeting if I just have one question?

The best way to clarify all your questions is by booking an appointment with our team. Due to calendar and organization reasons, it is always better to schedule a time to speak with one of our team members.
Having a strategy session is also the best way to really understand your specific situation and properly advise you, as each case is different and should be analyzed individually.

What is the duration of the strategy session?

The strategy session usually takes around 30 minutes.

What is the best option for my case?

In order to provide proper legal advice, we need to be able to fully understand your specific situation and details.
The best, easiest and quickest way for you to explain your situation and for us to ask all necessary questions is through a strategy session, where one of our experts can fully comprehend and advise you on the best way to achieve your goal.

What are the necessary documents I need to present?

Depending on the matter, different documents will be needed. Once you decide to move forward with us, the first two documents we will request from you are:

  • Passport – We need a scan of the biometrics page / ID page of your passport.
  • Proof of Address – We need a document that proves your address, such as a utility bill, a bank statement, a residence certificate, a driver’s license, etc.

Once that is settled, one of our team members will walk you through the steps and request the remaining documents that are needed for your process.

How can I be sure you can help with my situation?

We have a 99% approval rate on all services we provide. Every case has its own complexity, but we have a multi-talented team that always achieves positive responses to each and every one!

Can someone join me at the meeting?

The purpose of the strategy session is to clarify all doubts a person might have, so if you believe someone else’s presence is relevant to the meeting, of course they can join! Some examples include:

– A couple discussing the future of their family when applying for residency in Portugal;
– A group of friends planning to open a company or invest in a property together; or
– A mother and son understanding the Citizenship application by ascendance.
There are plenty of other examples that justify more than one person being present in the same strategy session.

I cannot find the service I need on the website. How should I proceed?

In case you cannot find the service you are looking for on our website, please reach out to us at success@visasinportugal.com

Why does the payment need to be done prior to the strategy session or the conclusion of the process?

We require payment upon acquisition of our services as it ensures commitment from both parties to the process. This also allows us to allocate the necessary time and resources, and schedule in advance to guarantee everything goes smoothly. Additionally, it simplifies the process by avoiding delays and interruptions due to payment logistics later.

What are the available payment methods?

At the moment, we accept payments through PayPal (either if you have an account or as a guest, via credit or debit card), wire transfer (to a bank account in the United States of America), cryptocurrency (USDT or USDC) and cash, if you were to pay at our office in person.

What’s the purpose of the strategy session?

The strategy session is a 30 minute long meeting in which you will be speaking to one of our team members. This is way more than an introductory call; it’s a strategy session where we plan together your future in Portugal. You can tell us anything, bring a list of questions, and strategize the best path given your context and goals. If applicable, we will send you a quote with services we offer that might be beneficial for you.

Does the strategy session need to be done in person?

No! Our clients are all over the world, so we try to provide as many of our services as possible remotely. We usually hold strategy sessions online, over Microsoft Teams.
