Prenuptial Agreement

The prenuptial agreement is a contract made before marriage that defines the marital regime of assets and what will belong to each of the spouses after the marriage.
It is not mandatory when getting married but, whenever it isn’t made, the default regime of joint ownership of property acquired after marriage applies. If you wish to have a different matrimonial property regime, you must get a prenuptial agreement.
