Residency for Medical Treatment Purposes
If you require medical care while in Portugal, you can apply for a residency for the purpose of receiving medical treatment. For this residency, you will need to present a medical report with details of your condition and the required treatment.

- Analysis and advice for the entire duration of the representation
- Power of Attorney
- Issuing Portuguese tax number
- One-year tax representation
- Opening a bank account in Portugal and issuing all means of access
- Submitting an appeal with the bank, if needed
- Update address and contacts at the bank register (max. 2 updates)
- Issuing National Healthcare Number (NSNS)
- Submitting an appeal at the local healthcare center, if needed
- Update address and contacts at the local healthcare center (max. 2 updates)
- Analysis, processing and application for the Residency in order to apply for the Residence Card
- Appointment with Immigration and Border Services and guidance in the entire process
- Folder with all necessary documents for the appointment
- Submitting an appeal, if needed
- Changing the tax address at the Tax and Customs Authority (max. 2 updates)
- Submission of the process to update the address at the Residence Certificate (max. 2 updates)
